Monday, February 23rd @7pm join Wayfarer Theaters in celebrating Black Excellence with a world premiere screening on Alvin M. Daniel's latest documentary "The Master Student Becomes The Master Professional: The Jim Dent Story" Jim Dent was not allowed to play golf in Augusta, Georgia in the 50's because he was black. He would become a caddie at Augusta National and learn the game of golf from the men he caddied for. Once he became a Senior, he qualified for the Senior PGA Tour where he won several tournaments and made millions. He even outdistanced the great Jack Nicklaus in a tournament.
