THC INC.: Social Impact Screening
Monday April 27th @ 7pm Wayfarer Theaters invites you to a social impact screening of the new Wayfarer Studios, documentary THC INC. An independent documentary tracing the history of cannabis from prohibition through decriminalization and legalization, with a focus on the legal and public health impacts on individuals, marginalized communities, and especially youth. The film examines how shifting cannabis laws affect young people, including increased exposure and the risks of targetedmarketing.
Join out founder Steve Sarowitz and the author Kevin Sabet for a post show discussion.
The documentary ultimately asks, Where do we go from here?—rejecting both a return to prohibition and unregulated legalization, and instead
exploring a more balanced path that avoids criminalizing minor offenses while prioritizing public education, health safeguards, and protections for
children.
This Marquee event will take place on Monday April 27th @ 7pm. Doors open at 6:15pm.
